Compliance

We are committed to responsible corporate management

To ensure compliance with laws, voluntary self-commitments and corporate policies, Awin has introduced a group-wide Compliance Management System. This includes our efforts toward Partner Compliance, Corporate Compliance and Sustainability.

At Awin we operate in a culture of respect and trust.

We not only have a special responsibility for our actions as employees and managers, but we apply high standards to our own actions and expect others to maintain these ethical standards too.

We are committed to responsible corporate governance which is fundamentally based on integrity and lawful conduct. For us, this also includes a commitment to an environmentally friendly, liveable and free future for current and future generations.

Partner Compliance

As an open platform, our highest priority is to establish a prominent level of trust between all our partners, which is why our partner compliance team proactively manages the risks associated with fraud and non-compliant behavior.

Publisher Code of Conduct

Our Publisher Code of Conduct sets out our partners' expectations for online advertising and tracking technologies. By encouraging and requiring fair behavior from all our partners, we ensure confidence in our platforms.

Subnetwork Best Practices

Subnetworks are vital to the expansion of the affiliate marketing industry, but they do come with inherent risks. To mitigate these risks and increase confidence, we have created the Subnetwork Best Practices and encourage all subnetworks to adhere to them.

Cashback Best Practices

The Cashback Best Practice sets out a framework for cashback partners that ensures a level playing field for all market participants, while building advertiser confidence in the cashback model. By adhering to these best practices, cashback partners can cultivate a positive ecosystem that benefits both themselves and the industry.

Corporate Compliance

Awin is committed to ensuring we meet regulatory requirements, but also go above and beyond to maintain a culture of trust and accountability. Through transparent policies, regular audits and comprehensive training, we empower our employees to make responsible decisions and protect the interests of our partners.

Employee Code of Conduct

The Awin Employee Code of Conduct is part of our compliance organisation and should be regarded as a summary of the rules of behavior at Awin. In a generalised form, it describes the requirements for legally unobjectionable behavior, and thereby helps all employees assess whether a certain behavior or decision is or is not permissible.

Supplier Code of Conduct

The Awin Supplier Code of Conduct ensures that suppliers commit to protecting human and labour rights and environmental sustainability. Compliance with the code is mandatory for successful collaboration with Awin Group companies, regardless of local laws. It applies to all business partners and guarantees compliance with applicable legislation, such as the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act and the UK Modern Slavery Act. The code outlines minimum requirements for suppliers, sales partners, affiliates, consultants, and other entities that work with Awin.

Human Rights

We respect human rights and affirm that every human being without exception is entitled to the rights and freedoms proclaimed in the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Tolerance of different opinions and a commitment to democratic principles and the rule of law are the basis of our work - not only in our dealings with colleagues, but everywhere and at all times.

Whistleblowing System

We are committed to compliance with applicable laws and ethical standards. In order to prevent violations and to react to them in an adequate manner, we offer a Whistleblowing System open to both employees and external users to report possible violations and ask for advice. Through the use of the tool, you may choose to remain fully anonymous throughout the entire process.

Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

We take our role and responsibility in the protection of fundamental human rights seriously and we are committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within our business or supply chains. We have a zero-tolerance approach to any form of slavery and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity and transparency in all business dealings. We’ve put effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain.

Gender Pay Statement

We know and recognise the importance of equality to our business and to our employees and are committed to ensuring that all elements of our business achieve this. Under the government legislation, Awin is required to publish details to show the findings of our gender pay gap and we have analysed the pay differences between our male and female employees.

Tax Strategy

Our tax strategies satisfy Schedule 19 of the UK Finance Act 2016 and aim to uphold our commitment to openness and transparency across all our dealings.
