Terms and Conditions
PPC Activity
Domain Restrictions
Affiliates are requested not to use domains owned by Borders as their display URL in paid search campaigns without written permission. This includes www.borders.com and www.borders.co.uk
As the Borders website is newly launched, Borders are currently developing their paid search strategy with their agency. However, once this process is more mature they may look to bring in additional support. In this instance, Affiliate Window would look to bring in a small number of affiliates with written permission to direct link. If you are interested in being contacted regarding this opportunity, please email borders@affiliatewindow.com outlining your experience in the sector. Borders will not be recruiting PPC affiliates for the introductory two months. When this situation changes PPC affiliates applying to the Borders programme without first discussing their plans for promotion may find that their application is declined.
Please note, this would be a closed group surrounding use of domains for direct linking and Borders have no current intentions of setting up a closed group surrounding brand.
Affiliates wishing to promote Borders through search engine marketing via a landing page should first contact the account management team to discuss this.
Affiliates are asked not to register URL’s with Borders trademarked terms contained in their domain. Brand terms may be contained within the subfolder.

Affiliates may not put the Borders website into frames or masked URLs
Vouchercode Use
Use of promotional codes and offers must be authorized through Affiliate Window.
Affiliate Window will be monitoring closely all voucher codes used in affiliate sales.
Affiliates found to be promoting unauthorised codes face suspension from the programme. If you are unsure about which voucher codes you may promote please email borders@affiliatewindow.com or joanne.lyons@affiliatewindow.com
Creative
Affiliates may not alter any of the creative made available through the Affiliate Window interface. Affiliates are also requested not to hardcode banners into their sites, so updates made to those available through Affiliate Window may take immediate effect. If your site requires that banners are hardcoded, please contact the account management team to obtain permission before putting this in place. This will allow us to contact you whenever updates are necessary.
Affiliates found infringing these terms will be warned and may have commissions reversed. We reserve the right to withhold commission during this time. Reactivation of your account will be decided on a case by case basis and you may be suspended from the programme.
